I can speak from personal experience here, receiving a load of DVDs from "our Sammy" has two unwelcome side effects:
i) Your modelling productivity drops like a brick down a well.
ii) If you have an other half she will become convinced you're even weirder than she first thought, and if you don't have an other half, you're unlikley to find one while glued to the TV soaking up these gems.

we should have challenge trying to figure out how many rare kits that thing used my goodness that thing is ugly
l also notice it has rally rouser on it as well
l think that might have been built for a contest on another board

Wait a sec-Sammy are you saying that you will give any schmuck that gets a build done copies of all those movies? Here is some Hot Rod Gang trivia: A well respected builder I know (Ed Kereluk), his family took in boarders back in the 50's here in Regina where we live. One of these boarders was a local DJ who went from radio to acting and his name was ....Scott Peters! Yes-THE Scott Peters who acted in Hot Rod Gang!
