awhile back i drew a picture of a 70's style chopper shop truck, somting that could haul two bikes, this is what i came up with, after kicking around the idea of building it i soon realized that the monogram Vandal was prefect as a doner for the project, so i picked up a built up on ebay , and started cutting it up today, this it so far,i also have two revell 1/25 harleys for the back, ill post more as it goes ! ;D

They were a Kit by Revell, ( Sorry to correct you Don, but The Cherry Bomb Chopper is 1/24, not 1/25 & the Chopper in the Monte Carlo is a Triumph or Honda I believe ) - these are much more precise & accurate.

thanks guys, ya the bikes are old revell harleys, very Accurate for an early 60's pan head chopper,i have two, one mint that i got from a buddy of mine, and the other was a total glue bomb, this one here is the restored glue bomb, the mint one sould be alot nicer to build, ill post as i build the chopper hauler.

The one that comes with the Monte carlo ( MPC ) is a Honda. I`ll have to keep an eye out for one or two of the Revell panheads, thanks guys.

They came two to a box; they were issued as the "Grease Bikes"; last issue ( For the Movie )

Hey, something I can actually comment on with confidence - for a change.
Revell made four 1/25 bike kits: the Harley panhead chopper that Badseed's using, a Triumph 650 pre unit rigid framed bobber, a BSA 650 A10 (could be a Road Rocket or another A10 variant) and a Honda 350.
They were all originally issued as Parts Packs. These were fully chromed kits although the Triumph could also be had in a unchromed version. The others might have been issued in unchromed versions as well but I've never seen one.
Their next outing was under the Revell UK banner, and each version came with chrome and non chrome kits of the same bike in one box. Super rare kits but with brilliant British '60's style artwork on each box.
Next came the Grease 2 movie tie in which saw the Harley and Honda issued as one set, and the BSA and Triumph as another. All kits fully chromed.
We're not done yet. AMT offered a 1/25 650 Triumph as well but the catch was they only put certain parts in various car kits, which meant buying at least three car kits to get all the bike bits. This was a swing arm framed pre unit bike and you got high bar options as well as a racing option with different tank, seat and a full fairing. You can still get this complete kit (in resin) from Replicas and Miniatures.
Anyone still awake?
