[glow=red,2,300]BiG EXHAUST!!![/glow] I reamed out a couple of holes in the Tailgate for the Ferrari Exhaust... Next I glued sheet plastic behind. This makes attaching of the Exhaust Pipes easy. I will probably cut the length of the Pipes down later...

[glow=red,2,300]ROCKET POWER!!![/glow] I found some Brake Drums that are about the same size as the X-Wing Engines so I attached them on the rear... These will be Great Mounts for the Rocket Engines!

[glow=red,2,300]MIRRORS AND A MOONROOF!!![/glow] I added some BiG 1/16th scale Sports Mirrors to the front... Next, I cut a Moonroof from some clear plastic... I traced a circle around the Moonroof on to the roof and cut it out. Now for a little Primer... Rear View...

[glow=red,2,300]MORE ENGINE DETAILS...[/glow] I Finished the Engine! The metal screen adds a nice bit of Texture... I applied several small decals for fun! I modified one of the Ferrari Valve Covers and mounted it on the front of the engine. Then I added Metalic String to the spark plugs...

[glow=red,2,300]BiG SCREEN TV!!![/glow] I found this TV in a 64 Impala kit. It had Rabbit Ears and an AMT Ad on the screen. I left off the back of the TV and cut off the Rabbit Ears. Then I cut down the Dashboard and the back of the TV, for a tight fit and glued it in place!

[glow=red,2,300]INTERGALACTICAL DASHBOARD!!![/glow] I found some Real Nice Round Head Pins, Made from Glass, in Dolores's pin cushin. Looks like these would make Great Control Levers! I drilled holes in the Dash and glued the cut down pins in. I also cut out the back of the seat and fit it in place. I added some Gauge Decals and a few details and the Intergalactical Dashboard is done!

[glow=red,2,300]NICE & SHINNY!!![/glow] I sprayed Rocket Van with a few coats of Testors Diamond Dust Silver. This is the main color for the Van. Next, I masked off most of the Van with Blue Masking Tape... Then I sprayed Tamiya's Mica Red in the unmasked areas. Here is the Van as it looks Now...

[glow=red,2,300]SILVER FLAMES!!![/glow] The Flame Decals are from the Bronco kit. I cut off the front of the decals to fit them on the Van's sides... Next I applied the fronts of the decals just below the headlights. Unfortunately there wasn't enough decal to go between the headlights and the signal lights. So I used a Fine Line Permanent Marker and drew the 2 black lines between the headlights and the signal lights. Looks like the decal is all one piece now!

[glow=red,2,300]ROCKET VAN GETS SOME NEW WHEELS!!![/glow] I am using 4 Fat Front Deals Wheels Tires on the Rocket Van. I am trying to fit them inside the body sides without sticking out. Not much room for these Wide Little Tires... I started by trimming off the excess on the wheels. I saved about 3/8th inch width here! Now they will fit in much closer to the chassis. Next I glued the Tires together with Zap-A-Gap Green Label Glue. Then I sanded down the Ridge on the sidewalls of the Tires. I saved about an 1/8th inch width here! Now they should fit inside the the body just right...

[glow=red,2,300]THE DYNAMIC DUO!!![/glow] Wallace & Gromit will be the drivers of the ROCKET VAN! Since Wallace & Gromit built thier own ROCKET and flew it to the Moon, I figured they were qualified for the Rocket Van. The W & G Heads came from the Anti-Pesto Van Model, from the Curse of the Were-Rabbit Movie. I painted them with Acrylics. Then I sprayed them with Testors DullCoat Spray. I painted the Eyes, Teeth and Gromit's Nose with High Gloss Clear. Here's Wallace... Gromit is not too sure about this...
