FUTURAY!!! 1950's Flying Concept Car is Finished!

LAST FEW DETAILS...

Well the Futuray is almost Finished!

I painted the interior with Water-Based Acrylics.
I was so happy when I dropped a wet brush on the wing and the white splash just wiped off with water!





I added a Wide Screen Monitor where the steering wheel shaft used to be. The Monitor is made from a License Plate Frame, with the recessed area painted black. I think the passengers are on auto-pilot now...





The Bubbletop is my favorite part in this kit. Here it is the after I applied Bare Metal Foil.

Hey Ira,
This is pretty cool. I document and graph out my builds and pretty much stick to it, but watching your last few builds you seem to have used more of a "seat of the pants" style and they sort of evolve as they go. Very interesting. I really like the lowrider rim "thrusters" and the subtle graphics are nice.
My only real concern is that you sure seem to know a lot about these flying cars, for an Earthling, that is.
LOL

On one of your last builds I noticed the whole build up of it was gone, did you do that, if so you need to keep the whole process posted so we can use it as reference. thanks.
Great job on this. Can't wait to see the next one.
