l bow my head in shame to you Harley l totally gave up on my build the paint nearly destroyed my spirit yours turned just great glad those decals turned out okay and the that bike on the trailer is to kill for but l noticed you put the precious cargo inside the van

Thanks Joe, but we both know how delicate old Triumphs can be, best to keep them inside unless you really have to!

very cool build love the decals and yes old trumpets should be handled with care at least the one i had did !

Wish I could help Johnny but the decals are a repop of a set that came with the van. I had them made up by a guy over here in the UK.
I used to have an OKI printer that did decent decals but I could never master getting a base coat of white to lay down so the decal wasn't transparent. I built a lot of white and silver cars before the printer died!

That van is bitchen! I’ve always wanted to paint this on a real van , maybe I should buy a real van and paint this on the sides to advertise my business!

I'm pretty sure one of the car mags (Hot Rod perhaps?) did feature a van with paintwork like that back in the day - if I remember correctly it was done by the guy who did a lot of Jungle Jim's paint on his funny cars (but I could be completely wrong about that....).

Yes I remember the magazine, I may even have a copy of it here at the shop, the guy that did a lot of the jungle Jim cars was Kenny Youngblood , at least the cars painted in California.
