I have dedicated this to the memory of my Father who used to be a Mack driver and watched me build this before he passed away at christmas last year with dememtia.
The Body is Resin that I got from a friend of mine as is the chassis and running gear.
The sleeper I completely scratchbuilt with door's from a diamond reo kit,the door handles are made by me as well.
The aircon unit was scratchbuilt as was the stoneguard in front of the windshield, the mirror's are from my parts box and I added reflector's to the back of them.
I used bare metal foil for the grille surround and headlight surrounds,I drilled out the moulded headlights and used a pair from the revell 32 ford.
The front bar is from the parts box and the battery box is scatched built, all mud flaps have been made by me with a material that is like rubber from a craft shop I just added the mack to them to finish them off.
the front tak's are from the mack R685ST and the rear tank and air start tank are resin,I also made the fuel and air tank straps and the wheels and tyre's are fromt the same kit as the tank's.
The eaxaust stack's are scratched built out of aluminium tubing, the winshield wiper's are from the parts box as are the airhorn's and marker lights.
The trailer is an old frehauf amt issue I have had since 79 and I wanted to use it fo this build so that I would have that 70s look.
I scrathed built a third axle for it to give ma the tri axle set up,the trye rack and storage locker's are also scratched as well.
The paint is inferno red and the stripe is painted in yellew gold with white pinstiping to finish it off.
Regards Tony.
