The snake after a coat of black and some drybrushing. The detail is a lil too light on the head for me. So I got out my rotary tool and did a lil engravin' and after another bit of drybrushing, it looks a lil better but still a way to go! Could they have put those seams in a more obvious location? After this I got all nostalic and watched an episode of Lost In Space with my boy and unwrapped the PL Spindrift. That looks like a pretty cool kit too. Here is the snake masked off for diamond painting. I am not going to spray it but this might help keep me from getting confused. Here are the two hobres in the scene. This is the damsel in distress. If you axe me she got a bit too much junk in da trunk. Don't be worried, mon, I get me Wizard Rotary Tool. Here is the snake with diamonds. I didn't mask him all the way and I screwed up the pattern on the tail. Please don't tell anybody.

I know you guys probably think after building models for 40 years I'm an old hand at building snakes but this is my first. That's why I love this hobby. What's next-an aeroplane?
