Why Earlybird Special 
This was the First Funny Car I built.......It was way back in
1993-4 !!
At that Time I had been looking around for a 1-16 F/C Kit
( Remember I Live in Australia ) and could'nt find one !! So Out of Frustration and a Burning desire to Build I decided to Use One of my Dragsters and convert it for the Frame etc and convert a street Car for the Body .
Similar to the White Rear Engine car I narowed the body full length but for the Roof I lowered it and moved it Back about
4.5 centremetres, this gives the impression it has been stretched
at the front but it is actually another Standard wheel base Car
like the white one.
Lots of hours in this, I have improved my Build quality since doing this one, it shows it's age a bit when seen close up.
