All Testor's paints I would have had access to as a kid. I could not find any bright green so I did as any kid of the late 60's would do: I mixed my own. I left the tonneau cover & roof bare white plastic. What kind of an idiot would waste his time painting something white that is white already? No masking tape was harmed in the painting of this kit. Here it is with its ghost. it appears to be a test shot? I thought you might like to see it before I get my brush on it. LOL. A striped seat. The total time on this build was about 6 hours that I'll never get back. Here is a picture of me (left) and my BFF Jeff Peters, summer of love (1967 to you squares). It looks like I am proudly holding a Pyro glue bomb while JP shows off his beloved Blue Beetle.

That's the days we remember most, and are trying to recapture so much. When this was all for FUN. Keeps us young at heart. And with enough fumes, in mind.

Drop it? That's how I built them back then. My skills have improved since then. Funny thing is Jeff's mom gave that pic to me for Christmas many years ago (about 35). I remember looking at and thinking it wasn't much. But now when you look at stuff like that anything else she would have given me would be LONG GONE!
