Rolled this car off the assembly line this week. What a piece of junk this kit is. I bought a bunch of the 57 Vette flip nose kits for the wheels on the cover. The wheels were not in the box and I was quite upset.
Also the quality of the kit is just junk. The mounting tabs are often as large as the part. Very poor fit throughout. After 4 hours of trying I gave up on the flip nose. If I were to do it again I would scratch build the flip mounts.
I made these decals long ago and I did the lettering in gold foil. I found the wheels in the parts box.
It looks OK on the shelf.

There's something about those "nostalgia" kits, they seem like a really great thing until you try to build one, then it becomes apparent why people lost interst in modelling. A respectable build, none the less.
