I just finished up these two

I made the black pinstripe between the red and white on the computer. It was a bear but it really improves the look of the car. I wish Model King would release this one so we could have a source of Drivers.



I lowered the suspension. I tried to figue a way to lower the body on the monogram Cuda but the tin work is very complex and I have not figured out how to do it yet.
I made the grill decal and I also made gold foil lettering to overlay on the decal set to make em pop.
Rick don't put these in the done section yet. I will be taking better picts of all my recent builds soon.

That frame is used under all the Monogram 1/24 funny cars of the era. Mongoose, Snake, Black Magic,Great white, cop out and on.

Hey Dwayne, I checked out your photos in your link, you have built some dandies. Can you tell us how you make those beautiful gold foil decals?

I scan the origional then eliminate everything but what I want in gold. The I cuss and hollar as I try to print on a very unreliable Alps printer. I then lay the gold foil over the origional decals to spice em up a bit.
I still have some left overs from when I used to make them to sell.
I am open to trades or selling.
