That reminds me of a real junkyard truck I saw in the at a local junkyard . It was an old rusty early 30's truck with a Mercury flathead v8 in it. The back had a long homemade boom with car rims for pulleys . I remember looking at the flathead and was amazed at how smooth it ran (there was no hood ) This was in the late 1980's ,and the yard is still in business so it may still be there. Have you ever been to Kleeman's auto in Preston ?

Kleemans junkyard is near where Bert (gberzzerk) lives . Its a family run yard and if you're lucky ,you can walk in there unescorted.
