This is great....
I'd like to know where the body came from too, and what scale. I've had the itch to build a lakester myself, and I'm gonna do it soon as I can get the stuff I need together.

Jon The body and a good many of the parts needed are available from Early Years Resin ( earlyyearsresin.webs.com/lsrparts.htm ). This project is based on the original BT-1 body which is slightly oversized and allows the kind of room needed to accomodate the seating position and front end work shown on the build. The BT-2 body has been released since and is 1/25th scale accurate for the sort of historic belly tankers such as the So-Cal and Dick Beatty cars.
