I always seem to spend hours on building a chassis then get around to painting the body. If I bomb on the paint job then all the work on the chassis is for nothing in my eyes. So with this build I decided to do the body first. And yes I screwed up majorly. It was a mess and the paint didn't want to come off. I think I used Tamiya paint over original plastic, didn't prime. (I know what was I thinking). So the body was a mess. I managed to get most of the paint off, then I primed. The body was super brittle from being in the CSC for so long. I found the body in my bucket of Castrol Super Clean. It was in there probably a few years 
Then the primer crazed the plastic. I just about pitched the whole thing but I love the look of the car and needed to complete it.
Long story short the car is a survivor. Box stock other than the addition of the velocity stacks.
