Satan's Got em On The Run.
Just in time for Halloween.
This is a old Lindberg kit. Hard to find. I got lucky and found this kit on Ebay still new in the sealed box. I have seen these kits ,built or un- built go for big bucks. I got lucky and only had to pay 26. $
Way back in the 60's , Lindberg jump on the band wagon to compete in Revells Ed Roth wacky -n-weirdo and Hawk model company with their issues of weirdo models . From what I remember they didn't sell well and only did "Satan's Crate" as it was called seem to be the most wanted one of them all.
This is basically a box stock build with the exception that I added the engine scoop and a chrome bat onto the front of the coffin.
I used "Folkart paints for the coffin Nutmeg brown-n- golden brown with flat black wash and Tamiya's clear over it for the wood look.
The figure of Satan was painted with Tamiya's flt.red and blue and flt. black wash. the chroming of other parts was with Alclad II paint.
Skeletons came from a dollar store in the Halloween section. I heated up the bones joints to bend them into shape and painted their eyes sockets flt.red.
The base of it all was 1/2 inch Styrofoam painted with white sand finish paint. I loaded up the brush with the paint and dab it all over to give it a ruff look. Then flat black over it all. Then with Folkart paint Cardinal Red and Pure Orange to give it all that fiery look. The back round and face in the flames I took off the internet and made to fit.
So there you have it. Another dust collector done.
