Jimm Rummell Tribute Car #75

This is a tribute to a friend and brother of 46 years, who past away just over a year ago. We were also business partners in a hobby shop/ slot-car shop back in the early 80s. The build I have done took over a year to complete. I would work at it a while and then put it away, guess it was the finality of it. Jimm was a big fan of dirt racing and loved the old Late Models. He was a fan of the 57 Ford, which he had owned at one time. He had a slot car with an AMT 57 Ford shell on it and painted it pink and black "just to be different." I thought a look-a-like of that racer with a dirt theme would be a cool tribute to my old buddy. Hope you like it and thanks, Denny

I 'gutted" the pan and just used the frame on this build.



Decals are by MikeG, FRW Wheels. Testors Lacquers for a finish. Roll cage, floor pans, interior decking, fuel cell, master cylinder, and ignition coil are all scratch-built.

I share his Fondness for the 57 Fords, you have done a Brilliant job
and Excellent detail, It's a Bad Dirt Monster and I'm sure your Freind and brother will be
checkin this out and loving it from the Great Dirt Oval in the sky right now.
