I started out to build this as the Chezooom, but with a change of paint. I didn't particularly like the striped job on the boxart. Well, I finished the paint and decals on it, then made a boneheaded mistake and destroyed it. I started over and repainted it. I searched for replacement decals which I have seen before, but couldn't find any, so I robbed some from another of the same old kit. I have been pretty successful in saving old decals, using either sealing overcoats or decal film, but not this time; I crapped out, they just disintegrated. So, what to do? This is a fictional F/C so I decided to put together some other decals (from my stack of Slixx) and turn this into a DIFFERENT fictional F/C. Door handles, side insignia, and light markers were shaved off. Paint is Boyd Lime Pearl over a silver base, decals by Slixx. After everything, I'm happy with it.
