About 60 pieces or so but a lot harder to build than one would imagine! At least 2 attempts at paint. Started with HOK, ended up with several of Boyds from testors out of the spray can. I added a few mods like some wiring & fuel lines, a water pump thing on the front (I don't know what it really is but it looks better than nothing-which was all there was). Also added a transnission and inner thighs and arms to the driver. I am glad it is done. The driver before adding inner arms and legs. The body in primer (after first botched paintjob). I filled the seams with glue. Here it is finished.

I was just looking though the latest March issue of Hot Rod Deluxe magazine. They have a few pages of vintage dragsters on the seen. (black-n-white photos) They look simple enough to scratch build some thing like this easily. Nice job on your too. ;D
