Trantula custom Coupe II This my second attempt of a new remake of my old Trantula Coupe. The first one wasn't really finish and the paint job suck. Again I started out with Two Monograms kits of Tom Daniels custom show dragster ( the Trantula ) putting two body halves together. 32 Ford chassis and fenders were used. I didn't have 34 Ford fenders ( as used on the first one ) in my stash when I started this build. Inside I used a modified 1959 Chevy Impala dash board with a simulated tilt steering wheel column. 2 of the Tran.'s kit seats with console divider flock in red and trim in Candy Lime Green. Out side fire wall eye candy I took 59 Impala rear tail lights chrome trim and adding Tran's kit spider webbing to it, repainting it all with Alclad chrome. With the roof, I tried some thing new as you will see. Paint was all Tamiya gold under base with Candy Lime Green over it. And there you have it. Another dust collector all done. Thanks you guys. I am my own worst critic but I had to surprise my self with the out come of this build compared to my first attempt at years ago. Guess ya can teach an Ol Dog new tricks. Now that it's all done , my wife is yelling at me to come to bed. ( I for gotten what room that is in my house )
