I started rummaging around in my parts stuff, came across an old Super Bug Gasser body that had visited the purple pond many years ago, and a few parts to it. I removed some residue from the pond, repaired a crack in a fender. I filled the headlight holes with plastic and super glue and sanded it down. Added the T’Rantula engine and headers and other parts left over from the other contest build that I hadn’t used, a parts pack chrome chassis, tires and wheels from the parts box. I shortened the chassis by 3/4” to fit the already short Super Bug body, cut the hole in the hood for engine clearance. Paint is Testor’s Hot Magenta. Hell, the damn thing’s PINK!
