This was a broken glue bomb that was partially built but had good glass so I thought I would giver a go.
I wrote to the builder of the real car and inquired about the color of the real car as I had heard that what was on the model box was not correct.

Wow..really nice ! Another kit I've never seen completed before. Was that by Revell ?

The kit is a Monogram. The box art shows a yellow car. If you look at the Car Craft cover shots from 1963 you can see it is pearl white with the red stripe. I wrote to the Starbird museum and they told me the best color to use is HOK Snow White pearl. The interior and under glass are sprayed aluminium and the seats are a blood red velvet.

Absolutely beautiful build! Had this as a kid, wasn't an easy build with all those tiny parts, hinges etc.

FANTASTIC BUILD!!! I built this in '66 but didn't turn out this great, had that box too.
