War Of the Worlds the 1950s version is one of my favorite movies of the 50s. With the release of the Pegasus version in vinyl it was a must build for me. This is a really cool kit that begs to have lights added. The base is molded in clear styrene so the writing on the base can easily be lit up. Alls one has to do is wallow out a hole in the creature body and one can light up the martain eyes as in the movie. Even with adding the LEDs it's a simple build. ( again thanks to Krazy Rick for the place to get the LEDs and Rick you've created a lighting fool here ;D ;D). This little monster was a blast to paint. One of the things i like to do when feasible is to hide the switch in plan site on my builds and this one is no different. The kit comes with two books that go on the base so i thought what a great place to put a switch. So the green book that says the time machine is the switch, just press down and wa la on come the lights. Enough rambling here's the martain from War Of the Worlds.
