Saturday nights project, and yes it has been awhile. but i sat down with a new project and after alot of thinking heres what i have......resin 1972 Torino Coupe project, 1979 Ford bronco for 400m engine, 1966 Fairlane for auto trans and 9inch earend, johan 1972 Torino Stock car for chassis and core support, Radiator, and some minor other things........ I wanted the 72 torino nascar kit for the chassis so i can add some details to the torino chassis, and to show off what you can do if you really think about it...... heres an idea using the 1966 ford fairlane for the 9inch rearend, i used the stockcar rearend hardware and came up with this. hope this helps and thinking outside the box on this one i came up with the engine 400m out of the 1979 Ford bronco and used the auto trans from the 1966 fairlane kit, and the oil pan from the SBF oil pan bin, also abit of work to convert the 2bbl intake to a 4bbl intake Cant make it outin the pic but i repainted the block, added carb and painted the intake...carb isnt painted yet cause i have some details to do there yet, and the heads have been drilled out for plug wires...... Sorry i havent been around folks!! I remodeled the model shop, plus alot of other things going on this summer.. i shall return slowly tho!

Looking good so far ! I remember when those Torinos were everywhere - what a popular model Ford had with them . A lot ended up getting made into enduro cars here in CT. They took a lot of abuse.

Managed to get the interior painted yesterday, cleared some of it this morning, and detail painted this and that. also got the headliner painted interior color, under hood semi-gloss black, and also rest of inside of body...... Underside of hood also (i always forget this part LOL) Need to add a brake pedal and a gas pedal next. and get the steering wheel and colum painted
