This started as the hauler and truck kit,but I decided to do it as a mild custom,
I filled and moulded the front clip to give it a one peice look and decided to tilt the hood in reverse,I also filled the firewall as well and smoothed it to make it look a lot cleaner.
All fender's have been reworked and smoothed as it looks a lot better then the factory look.
The studerbaker grille come's with the kit so I thought it would finish the front of it off nicely,the window opening's of the door's I have slightly lowered to match the front shield.
The dash has been converted to right hand drive,I also used the gauge cluster from a 59 impala it took a bit of reworking and filling but worked out well in the end.
The seat is from a old revell 57 chev,the pickup bed has been smoothed as well and I have added a rollpan to it and smoothed the tailgate,I made the skirts for the rear fender's to finish it off.
The rear tailight's are from the kit,I used the side pipes from the elcamino kit and I had to make new engine pipes to suit them.
the bumperettes are from my parts box as are the door mirror's the desoto hemi comes with the kit and as I love mechanicl injection I had to go that way with it.
With the tyre's I painted the whitewalls and the wheels are from the kit I just added valve stem's and I lowered the whole thing and The black is jet onyx.
