Cartoon Woody Fuel Altered

I wanted to do something a little different from my usual builds. I am not really into figures but I thought it would be fun to do this one with a twist.
My club has an Altered contest for the next meeting so first I thought it would be different to do a woody then I took if further and decided to do it as a cartoonish car.
I used an old shortened funny car chassis, a parts box body and some weirdos parts.
Put here in a wheelstand, smoke, flames and pistons blowing out the bottom of the motor. Eight ball shifter, big blower, smokin tires.


stop light says go faster and he is racing on DJway.

Thanks guys, on a side note I have been questioned many times about my email moniker DJway that I also used on the street sign here. As a little kid I always sang along with the Beetles songs and I particulary liked the song where they sang Blue Jay Way which I always sang as DJ way. It has stuck with me low these many years.
On a building note I had a terrible time with the wood grain and skin paints.
Any tutorials on how to do either of these things would be appreciated.
