Quiet Sunday afternoon yesterday so I thought I'd have a go at knocking the carbs into shape for the Hot Rod Rumble (triple 97's natch).
Three hours later I had used about two inches of fine gauge wire to produce choke and throttle linkages that will probably be hidden by the bonnet when it's finished.
Three hours! Three XXXXXing hours! I've rebuilt full size carbs quicker than that! And it was a good riding day with a Ducati waiting in the garage.
Like I said, please tell I'm not losing the plot....

okay so you think you are losing it l decided to do a bit of work on my hot rod rumble build did some work on for about half an hour and decided to go for a burn on bobber since it was such a beautiful day turned back about 30 minutes later and decided to go and work on my build so no l don't think you are losing it but as far as choke and throttle linkages on those 97's you are a biggger man than me l am working on a 1/8 hot-rod and wouldn't even think of putting a choke cable on it
