70 Ply Superbird

I built this one in 2004. My goal was to find a Superbird that actually had the road wheels(magnum 500's) that come with the Monogram kit instead of the ralley wheels that are found on most Superbirds. I finally found one on the internet and built from that. In keeping with the base model theme I used the interior from the Monogram roadrunner kit and gave it a column shift automatic. I also used the engine bay and Under carridge from the 69 Dodge superbee kit. they have better detail. The decals are from Kieth Marks. I just found that this one and a couple of others are in the 2012 Contest Issue of Model Cars.
