The Stingeree was taunting me. Wife is out of town for 4 days, I thought I could get it done. Then I opened the box and found the body consisted of 5 sections that vaguely fit together.

Day One: gluing, filing, sanding, gluing, filing, sanding, etc

Day 2; After a bath in Testors green lacquer and a few coats of gloss enamel. A rare occasion of getting it good enough in only one attempt:

Days 2 and 3: Managed to get the persnickety frame together and painted along with the motor, various mixes of black, silver, copper, etc:

I have also worked on the rolling stock, axles and other parts of the engine. I am not going to get it done this weekend.
