'50 Ford Convertible Mild Custom

AS I recover from the Hot Rod Rumble I'm teaching myself how to shoot pics of my models using a black background in a style often seen in The Rodder's Journal. It's providing an excuse to re-shoot some builds from a few years ago, ones that in more than a few cases could stand some tarting up with some fancy photography. Here's an AMT '50 Ford Convertible with an aftermarket resin Carson Top and a scratch built interior with a console and seats from an AMT '53 Studebaker kit. The lakes pipes, tires and wheels are from a Revell '49 Merc kit. I lowered the rear end with lowering blocks to bring it in line with the kit's lowered front suspension. Paint is Duplicolor Cherry Red Metallic over Gold.

Very nice build, the pics look great.
I really like the black background and the reflection from shooting it on glass.
