[glow=red,2,300]NEED MORE INTAKE!!![/glow] I decided to extend the Intakes so that the front 1/2 inch of the Engines fits inside the Intakes. So I cut some more of the Intakes off the old Jet Model. Next I cut the New Intakes down to fit the Pegasus. Here it is glued in place. I glued a piece of sheet plastic to the underside of the Intake to finish it off!

[glow=red,2,300]SHAPING THE INTAKES!!![/glow] I have marked the bottoms of the Intakes for Cutting. I will cut along these lines with a razor saw. After cutting I glued these two pieces of plastic over the cut areas. Then I carved the plastic down to the shape of the Intake using a Dremel Tool and sanded it smooth & even with a Fileboard. Next I cut the bottom of the Intakes and did the same thing to the bottoms. Then I did the same thing again to the sides... Here are the Intakes with all four sides done!

[glow=red,2,300]BARS UP FRONT!!![/glow] I found this part in the parts box. I think it is part of a tail light assembly... I cut the two ends off and glued them in place as shown! Here are the Intakes after a little sanding...

I don't know why .... but I keep thinking it would be neat as one of Batman's vehicles....Painted Black; with some red stripes, or highlights maybe

[glow=red,2,300]ROUNDING THE INTAKES!!![/glow] I rounded out the inside of the Intakes with "Half-Round" Plastic Strip and Putty... Got the Fins and Spoilers molded in, nice & smooth. Most of the Body & Underbody work is done now, so I applied some more primer.

[glow=red,2,300]INTERIOR STRIPS!!![/glow] First I made the rear of the Interior with two 5/16" Plastic Strips on each side. This was easier than trying to cut a template add fit one piece of plastic on each side. Then I glued a 5/16" Strip on each side of the Cockpit... The strips were positioned to add a little more room for the Engines! More Coming...

[glow=red,2,300]INTERIOR SIDES...[/glow] I cut 2 side walls from sheet plastic and glued them in place. This will leave just enough room for the BiG Engines! The fronts of the Interior Sides were attached to the Intake Shafts to complete them. The Sides were cut so that they fit up against the Underbody tightly. More Coming...

Then I turned it up side down and carved away a little more, to add some legroom... Here it is up-side down and carved to fit, perfect for Pegasus! More Coming...

[glow=red,2,300]MOUNTING THE DASH...[/glow] I traced the edge of the dashboard on to the body. By cutting this area out, I will be able to mount the dash about 1/4" forward. Here it is in place!
