I told you I was gonna finish some old projects this year! Here is the first, I finally got the Spindrift done! Started in 2011. I glued the body together and tried to weather it. I determined it looked like crap because of poor fitment and bad weathering. So I took it all apart and sanded all the panels so they would fit together with no gaps. I was even able to get the removable top it fit decently which is probably the worst part of this kit. The 3 piece windshield area really took a lot of grinding. I painted the interior with Tamya paint zackly the same colour as the plastic. Here is the interior fitting in the shell. I had to really grind a lot of interior floor away at the front. After I had filled in the gaps between the upper and lower shells, I had to re-scribe a lot of the grooves at the back where the stripes taper.

I remember having this when I was young, really should pick one up again while they're available.
