Part Two of a 3 build set of American small car funnys.

Vegabond Vega

MIB kit, I built the Kammback version of this kit, uses a different set of front wheels and tires (which I like better than the bicycle ones). Built boxstock, I added a blower scoop. I decided on a change of color from the boxart. Paint is Purple-Licious.

The quality is the same as usual Dave - your really cranking them out !!!

Yup, definitely prefer the five spoke wheels on the front end. No body up shots Dave? There is something under that body isn't there?

Out of interest, what class would a car like that have competed in? It looks to be somewhere between a funny and an altered.

I guess you need to work on the diorama with this one and the Pinto smokin'em up on the starting line. Nice work!

Actually, I've long thought about building that, or something like it! Those cars (Holden Torana) were generally hard to find here, but I did finally find it, and now you can buy 3D printed, but I thought a Datsun 510 might be close enough. Still might build something.
