I like customs that are either so radical you spend a lot of time checking out details or so subtle you spend time trying so see whats done.
This was copied from a factory "clay" of a 1952 Hudson sports car to compete with the Nash Healey, the Muntz and the Curtis sports cars. The factory plan was to take a Hudson Convertible and shorten it into a two seater with a minimal amount of tooling costs. It would have been Twin H powered with the hotter NASCAR cam and cylinder head kicking the sixes h.p. up to either side of 200, 3 speed with Over Drive, Power windows, seat and top. Thought it was a slick idea and would have been the first luxury sports car.
The kit was shortened up 1 and 3/8 inches behind the doors, interior was shortened and a well was added for the top along with storage compartment under the well. Paul
