Wonderful! Are those the original kustom skirts? Remarkable! What brand kit was it?

Wonderful! Are those the original kustom skirts? Remarkable! What brand kit was it? Aside from the repaired trim on the roof the entire kit is original from the box. The kit is an original Johan annual it of a 1960 Plymouth Fury. The skirts, and spinner hub caps are all original to the kit. The only things missing are the flat exhaust tips. The Cruiser style skirts are still my favorite things on cars. Paul

Nice to see an old build saved from the junk-yard, looking forward to seeing it done.

How cool is that! I'm sure my first kit was blown up or melted. Great Project!

She is now bathing in Purple! An attempt to use Testers silver to do old school trim, started badly and quickly went down hill from there. If it was any other moel but this, it would have flown away

Hate when that happens, I`ve had a few over the years that didn`t sprout wings fast enough. Hope the new paint job works out for ya`.

I don't know how badly the sliver went on, but before I do the details on a build I'll polish the paint. That way, if I mess up on the trim, I can remove the silver with a little more polsh and it doesn't affect the main paint color. Its saved me many times !
Looking forward to seeing the finished pics !
