Well, this started out that I wanted to add the louvered hood from the Revell Custom Merc to the Revell Wagon. I found the Custom hood was narrower, longer and just would not fit. So Easy to fix! Cut the wagon at the door / fender seam and do the same on the coupe and swap noses. Nope doors are different and the wagon fenders are longer. Add filler pieces (grrrr). That done the roof looked out of proportion so cut the front half of the coupe and fit it on the wagon, cut the rear roof of the wagon and fit it together... nope not that easy! The wagon roof is narrower to the rear and has a taper it on the sides. So after making the roof into 5 parts to widen it,plus to return thge taper front to back. CUT , Cut, Cut...Sand,Sand,Sand . . . Grumble, Grumble, Grumble.
This is where I stand. Next is to make fillet pieces and angle the door posts to match the rear posts. So much for just wanting the louvers. . .
