This is what happens when you don't have anywhere to work on kits for extended periods of time. Because I lost my usual work space to all manner of interruptions/ brick dust/ wandering builders for most of last year, I decided to work on individual tiny pieces with a view to finally wrapping up this garage diorama that's been in the "to do" pile for longer than I care to remember. As each part really didn't need any space to work on I just chipped away at them while the chaos carried on around me. The idea was to base it on garages (and their contents) I've owned and I've been collecting suitable stuff for years, so it was great to finally see it all coming together - rather like building a three dimensional history of my mechanical career! The base is the trusty old Fujimi item but with (real) timber walls and door, everything else coming from the Great Cosmic Parts Box. It's not finished as there are four bikes to be included (again, all machines I've owned or at least ridden) and a figure (which will be loosely based on myself). As my work space has now been restored to its former glory, those should all be done in the next few weeks but, for the moment, it's an in progress item.

Nice work Harley. I'm like Joe, you will have to add some stains to the floor and walls. However since it is your garage, it may be kept very tidy.

The garage gets its first resident - a 1969 Triumph TR6 in need of some work to the primary drive (and a few more tools/ general stuff scattered about).
