put together this Olds Starfire from parts box, found a couple of pix on web, but who drove/owned this race car?   |

put together this Olds Starfire from parts box, found a couple of pix on web, but who drove/owned this race car? Beautiful build! It was a West Coast car and ran in 1977 as 2nd car of Steve Leach's Race Car Dynamics drag team (2nd car was a Charger called Shadow) Driven by Bryan Raines. Donovan Powered, Alcohol fueled. Best time was 6.45 @ 224 mph. Both cars were stand outs because of the purple anodized tin work. Paul |
