Decal fighting me in the front as well as the rivet decals not disappearing when cleared. Still have to put a windshield gas tank , parachute and a few other touches.

Looks really good John - there's only a couple options to try & get those decals to sit right at this point............. you have to get alcohol behind them; either by carefully making small slits; or pin pricks. Then, you'll need to get a pretty hot cloth on top to blot them ; I've had this happen a couple times ..... I think the last one was that orange Falcon I did & I ended up cutting & removing most of the clear decal part; by cutting & removing it; using a hunk of two way tape on a stir stick ( It was a full operation ) .............. but it did work in the end !! Another option, ( probably the best for this situation ) ......... I would consider, would be to do a little weathering & go with the flow of the whole paint scheme maybe using acrylic craft paints & a sponge - this way; you'll be able to blend any of those decal areas; so they aren't noticed. - Good luck

Thanks Rick , I was thinking of weathering before all this ,maybe have to revisit that again ,thanks for the input,, Sammy good call on the tank I was thinking for the blower scoop so it was glued on already but this build was going in a hole different direction before but I like your suggestion on the tank. Here's what it used to look like, I have another " white trash "in the works.

To me ,the rivet decal lines look like overlapping panels , so it works for me - great job !

Is there anything you can't do with a Vega body shell? If there is, I probably don't want to know about it!
Another neat project!
