OK, take a Revell chop, turn it into a proper hardtail, add an Aardvark wide tyre kit, widen the front forks to accept a kit rear tyre, persuade 1/10 scale tank and seats into place, add a belt drive kit from an unknown source, buy a blower kit and throw most of it away because the moulding is so bad (I refabbed the parts using the kit as a template), knock together a gearbox sprocket-mounted rear brake, scratchbuild pipes, oil tank and all sorts of brackets, coat it in primer/ silver base/ candy orange/ orange pearl/ clear, chuck on wiring and plumbing and call it done. It's done! I'll be the first to admit that this was underway before the Challenge started but it had massively stalled and this was the kick up the arse I needed to get it done! |

Thanks guys and, Rick, if it's any consolation Build No. 2 is going to be based around a Honda Cub (the 90cc step through thing). How about a sub-Challenge for "pathetic little barf scooters"? If ya man enough of course!

Hmm . I'm not 100% sure, but I think I may have the only tube of glue left in Canada, & I'm down to 8 drops  Oh, is that my neighbor at the door ? ? ..... Get a grip guys! You are right up there with the best builders I've ever encountered and, at one time or another, you've all turned out something that's left me staring at the screen and wondering why I bother. So, less moaning and more kickass bikes please! (or Sammy's Secret Cheese Police will be paying you a visit in the small hours to point out the error of your ways. You have been warned....)
