Well, here it is .... I still have a couple of small details to finish, the gigantic holes where the mirrors should go - for one - not sure if I'll paint the black rubber strips on the bumpers, I know a lot of guys took them off the 1:1's ....overall I'm pretty happy with the results - I might still put a name decal on the rear quarter. I was going to use full length sidepipes, but decided to go with these shorter ones, I think it works. I went with this brown tone on the car, to enhance the feeling that a kid got a hold of Dad's car & spruced it up a bit. (* For those wondering why all my pics are small & have to be enlarged - my computer is not allowing me to adjust the size of my window, in order to use Fotki )

That is straight 1970s! You nailed it, jacked up in the back with side pipes. How cool is that.

Thanks guys, it seemed like a lot of bare metal, but I really enjoyed doing this one ...tackling this & the Pinto got me back in the groove after too long of a break ..... now, I'm warmed up & ready to roll !!

Finally I can use the friggin Fotki again !!! - ( I had to download a resize app to get the thing to work !! ) ..... ALSO ..... I forgot to mention, this Snap Kit has a chassis setup, which allows you to adjust both the front & rear ride height, I wanted a beefier rear end than what came with it, so I changed that, but left the front adjustable, so I could play with different heights ( It's set at about the middle setting, in the pics, it can go lower - very crude & simple - promo type "molded in .... everything" chassis; but neat feature.

I used the same kit, but the bright green version, to replicate my wife's first car. It is a simple kit and the body is very detailed as you can see. I agree Rick on the amount of foiling.

Nice (and to think you had to ask us whether to use the sidepipes - sheesh!).

Those sidepipes rock Rick!!! Great build, gives me the push to get going on my Gremlin kit, same rear tires and sidepipes will be on that.
Great pics, all period correct as usual for you. Great Cragar Kustom Classic mags, always loved those with their sharp lines.
