Totally awesome behavior rick !! That built is super nice , nice stance and paint, and digging the blower sticking out form the hood , wood floor is a nice touch also , how did you glitter the steering wheel? Another prefect period piece!

Rick my boy, I'm giving you a standing golf applause. The paint looks great and the wood in the interior is superb.

Thanks guys - I just noticed the lighting makes the rear door look as if it's a different shade - it isn't

A couple guys asked how I did the glitter steering wheel & shifter knob - Simple - ( I used all Folk Art water based acrylic paints ) first, I brushed the rim with flat black, let dry & brushed on their gloss, while still wet, I sprinkled dry flake. I let that dry, blew off the excess & put on 2 more coats of the gloss.- I might also try their glitter paint next time, but again; I would use a black base. Also - I'm using the Sally Hanson (water based) nail art pens, and other paint markers & gel pens, for a lot of things; I did the orange stripe on the seats using the nail art pen - as well as the chrome trim on the inside door panels - it's much easier than doing it with a paint brush.

The entire build looks awesome!! Colors and floor are good ideas. If you're interested, I use glitter nail polish I get at Walmart for scale metal flake. Any base coat works well and the Nail Glitter has a very heavy clear gloss carrier. Comes is close to 30 colors too. Here is Green and Gold over Tamiya White Pearl in my mouse build. (Don't think I posted it here?) Hosted on Fotki
