Paint exercise or not, it works. What are some of the other techniques used?

I don't think you'll too many stuffed shirts around here - although some of us might be stuffed with beer and pizza - but what's not to like about wild and crazy paint?

Paint exercise or not, it works. What are some of the other techniques used? I used the lace attached with spray adhesive as a template, the water droplet treatment, a light base colour then a dark colour wiped/smudged with a tiny piece of sponge. The roof was 90% covered with liquid latex flicked on with a tooth brush over the green, then black chrome treatment was sprayed. The entire shell was covered in tiny roughly shaped balls then sprayed with Spaz Stix chrome. It wasn't thick enough to get the effect I was going for. The pot leaf was made with a had cut stencil, then a drop shadow was painted around it to give it a floating effect. Thanks for all the comments guys. This really was a fun excersise.
