I was originally going to build a more-or-less ballpark replica of the 1:1 drag car, The Canuck, but I just didn't have the time. So, I built this- the only things it has in common is; it's a Chevy, it's blue, and I used the name decals.
Built as a tribute to my friend Rick.
Mostly boxstock, parts box wheels, Deja Blue paint, Slixx decals; I detailed the wheels and stacks.
I shoot pics on the back porch, a lot of reflections today, sorry about that.

Holy Crapola Duke !!!! - I thought you were joking when you first mentioned a "tribute build" 
The only thing that concerns me about this "Tribute build" 
- ( although as of now .....it's only happened about 18,000 times 
... and perhaps a few times on kinda "special occasions" : Weddings, Anniversaries, etc.)
