Paint issues aside I think it looks pretty good, I’m not real sure but I would think that most independent drag racers don’t have a big paint budget so the paint on it probably looks pretty accurate, I do think it’s an awesome build and looks pretty cool!

I agree with Gary - for me, I would leave it. This car would have been lacquer back in the day & may have had cracks here & there; not everything was a 5 star, big buck show finish.The power is where this guy put his money - It's fine as-is.  AAAND ( Get ready for more ranting  ) ..... the pics these cameras produce can be a pain in the ass - some pics show crap you never notice by eye; and other ones make stuff look a hell of a lot better than it is - If it looks OK on my shelf - it's good enough for me !!   |

l agree with the other guys
looks okay to me as well the detail looks great
as a drag racer there is one thought in my mind to go fast
looking good takes a back seat
l would leave it and move on

It looks like crap, I'd repaint the whole thing. Be sure to use high end PPG paint in a state of the art spray booth. I like it too, leave it like it is. I would love to hear what the real engine sounds like.
