Thanks (again) guys, in case you hadn't guessed I'm finding it really refreshing to break away (for a bit) from building stuff that has to look a certain way - we don't need no steenking rules!

Next piece of nonsense is "Marty's Mobile Sparks" truck. This will have a couple of mobile generators added to it in due course because, as we all know, Zero-G vehicles are notorious for needing a full charge to get them started and hence there's always someone in Sector 7 needing Marty's help to get them airborne! This folly is based on a really crude Czech WW1 resin armoured car kit (check out the moulding in the first photo) but, as this will be a fantasy diorama, I can get creative with details like: what is powering this thing? Who knows? But it clearly needs some big radiators, belches smoke and is prone to leak! Gotta love making this stuff up as you go along. View AttachmentView AttachmentView AttachmentReally ? what powers it ? .... "obviously" ........ a cregulating nezmit geluptim fruzzil devise ! ...... ... c'mon; give your head a shake .... ... get with it man

This is why I haven't been playing with vans for the last few months.... Yes, it will be hidden in the diorama so no-one will probably ever see it. Yes, it will get a rider - hence the temporary stand. No, I didn't Photoshop a ruler into the last photo, it really is about two inches long. Yes, I do need to get out more....

Thanks guys, it was a challenge (to put it mildly). I found I could only work on the really small stuff for about fifteen minutes at a time before my eyes and fingers gave up. Quite a lot of bits got broken in the process......
