Sometimes ya just gotta go a bit crazy! For me, that meant heading down a totally new route with a view to building a diorama of a steampunk-style spaceport and here we have the first two components - a water tower of some sort and a feisty young lass on her space cart. They're 1/35 scale so the space cart is about 3 1/2 inches long. I had a blast building these and the next two projects are already well underway!

If it gets you off my back, you can interpret it any way you like!

Thanks guys (this project, of course, might be linked to my no-show for the van off.....)! And kidding aside Harley - I must say I admire your courage, not only your choice to diversify your hobby, but also your decision of reducing the scale from 1/25/4th, and entering the 1/35 realm ..... as you know; most builders past 40 panic & rush straight to the larger scales ..... & quickly discover lack of space.

Next piece of nonsense is "Marty's Mobile Sparks" truck. This will have a couple of mobile generators added to it in due course because, as we all know, Zero-G vehicles are notorious for needing a full charge to get them started and hence there's always someone in Sector 7 needing Marty's help to get them airborne! This folly is based on a really crude Czech WW1 resin armoured car kit (check out the moulding in the first photo) but, as this will be a fantasy diorama, I can get creative with details like: what is powering this thing? Who knows? But it clearly needs some big radiators, belches smoke and is prone to leak! Gotta love making this stuff up as you go along.
