Hi everyone sorry about coming in kinda late but ya do what you can do. This is a build of the monogram Vandal kit. I've had this paint job in my head for years so I thought this would be a great place to try it. The kit was built almost box stock but the motor was changed to a hemi. I used a photo of a real lightning storm as reference. The van was painted white and I cut out the main lightning bolts out of tape. Then I used a series of colors to make the magic happen. Once I got the tape in place I painted the whole van black and then fogged white around the taped lightning bolts and then went to model masters hot pink,kandy scarlet and grape pearl to get the glow around the main bolts. The small bolts coming of the main bolts were hand painted and having shaky hands actually helped. The graveyard scene on the side of the van is decal that was blue to start with. It didn't match the rest of the paint job so I just dusted it with some of the kandy scarlet and it looked great so I just kept on going. I was so happy with the outside of the van I decided to take the same idea to the inside. I painted the inside with a white enamel and flocked it with white flocking. Then I did kinda the same process on the inside of the van. Oh and I did the mini bike the same way well just cus. Enough of my blathering here's the graveyard shift van

Friggin WILD John !!!! - Leave it to you to come up with something far out !!!! I think the way you carried the theme into the interior takes it over the top !!!
