And ..… a couple more " Maybe next ups" ……… The Moebius Dracula kit, this one, John Verkerk did a mold for the wall torch for me & I cast the flame in clear, and inserted a tiny flickering yellow LED in, also have a small sound chip from a toy that'll be used with it.  And this Chris Craft - is just too cool not to consider  And this one, was given to me by Big Drag ……. It is super cool, but screams for a diorama; so ….. this would be more of a full project  |

I love the idea that someone thought it was important for there to be Spacemen and Spacewomen in that last kit - now that's equality for you!

Just a quick update - corniness aside - this is a great kit !! - it really ticks all the boxes. The detail & fit is crisp, the scale of the seated figure is about 1/12 … the scale of the figure in with the dinosaurs is slightly smaller ( I guess to enhance the menace ) The machine part is around 8" … so pretty large. Pretty neat the way the switch from one scene to the next happens when the door is opened, it operates with an elastic & they engineered it so you have access to change it , if/when it breaks. Anyway …. this will be a few days to do, a lot of detail paint work, which I really enjoy - after this I'll be doing either one of two street machine already started ( Chevelle & a Dart ) … or perhaps back to finish my Pink Panther, or some kinda hot rod. I'll move this post into the right section when I'm done.

Ok, I'm still having fun with this unusual kit !! … I have the prehistoric scene about 99% done, I decided to modify the head of the dinos, one I repositioned, which involved a little scratch building, the other ( which I assume is a triceratops ) had no bottom jaw …. so I made one to improve that. I think the rest of the kit should be mostly detail paint; I'm really pleased how it's going so far; a lot of fun painting !!!

I can just imagine these detailed & placed in a proper setting 
……. I ended up going to the hobby store & just had to get this new one 
- beyond corny? …. oh ya baby !!! - so …. I have to do this one next 
…….. one minute the guy is waving & fiddling with a lever 
…. the next …. he's being attacked by 3 friggin dinosaurs!!! 
- How bloody great is that eh ??!!!!
