Ok - I decided to go with this weird sci-fi kit -I wanted something way out - I think this will do !!! ( hey, for $5 …. why not ?! ) …... I'm shooting for a 2-4 hour OOB build - it's molded in decent 2 colored plastic - so just details & building  |

I'm still working on the kit & really enjoying it. There is two submarines that go with it, you can choose which one you want to place in the underside & they are removable; so I finished those. I decided to body work & paint them because I thought the overall look would be nicer - the space ship is molded in a nice light blue met. - so that is not going to get paint. - I should be done in the morning & will post.

Weird, but fun (says the sucker for any Japanese weird kit)! The whole thing has a definite Thunderbirds vibe going on for me and it looks like a pretty decent fit on those curved surfaces too.

VEEEERRRRRYYYYY INNNNTTTRRREEESSSSTTTTIIINNNG!!! I've got the space shuttle kit I picked up in a thrift store ,I have looked at that many time's to be a quick build ,but then I came across a guy who did a real cool diorama of it blasting off , I would like to try and do the same, so now it becomes a to do,,sooo back in the box. I t looks like a kit you can have fun with ,looks real good the way you finished it. |
