Ok - Here's what I'm dealing with for my first entry - this is a kit that was given to my Nephew's daughter & he bonded the windows in with a tube of glue & made one hell of a big friggin mess & then gave it to me ( thanks …. I think ) ………. I was determined to fix this thing, it is pretty pricey & rare ……. I really dig the shape of it & the show is required watching in my house. - The orange shown on the box is wrong - it'll be replaced with yellow - I hope to finish up the repairs around the pillars this week & tackle the glass issue. *( The pics shown are after a ton of repair to the pillars - which be needing much more refinement )

I loved the show when I was a kid and, for a six year old, had a definite crush on Marina.

Here's a little update on the progress of the pillar repair, which was the main "issue" of this glue bombed sub I'm working on . I knew I needed to repair the posts, but then realized after looking at the prop used in the show, that the pillars actually lean at an angle & not vertical; as the kit had.... so I re-did them at that angle. Next up will be getting the fins on & then doing a little interior work, the kit comes without one; so I'm using parts of a Monogram 1/48 Black Widow P-61 airplane kit I picked up for $2 at a thrift store, to piece together an interior with a couple figures.
